"EZ Times Table (in Right Brain Math book) is a simple, systematic approach, which assists in memorization of multiplication facts. Review and repetition are built into each lesson. Using movement, rhythm, and visual patterns to explore multiplication, Thomas Biesanz has created a program to engage students of all learning styles. These patterns are a useful tool for multiplication mastery."

"Learning the times tables becomes a game as children learn fun patterns while filling in the EZ TIMES TABLES charts. Instead of learning one math fact at a time (which is not only difficult but highly inefficient), children learn a pattern for the entire table. Table by table, they construct a times tables matrix for tables 110. Pattern play develops number sense. EZ TIMES TABLES will intrigue your child.
Highly recommended as a resource for parents and teachers."

“Some of my students who have had trouble memorizing their multiplication and division facts have been lucky enough to work Tom Biesanz. He has devised a brilliantly simple and easy to use system he calls “EZ TIMES TABLE” to help the students learn their basic facts."
Greg, 5th grade teacher
“I am excited about the EZ TIMES TABLES and its structured, concrete, and logical approach to multiplication and division. I taught my 22 Fourth graders how to build their own EZ TIMES TABLES and their comments reflected their discoveries as the inquiry process helped them see the relationships between numbers and facts. I also presented EZ TIMES TABLES at a faculty meeting and 6 teachers asked how they could teach EZ TIMES TABLES to their students.”
Francis, 3rd grade teacher
“The EZ TIMES TABLE is a helpful tool for both remediated and excelled math students. Students are able to construct the entire multiplication table using this ingenious format. Number patterns are laid out for discovery. My students enjoyed the success of zipping through the process."
Teresa, Third Grade Teacher
“Many of the teachers are talking about how the kids are learning with your system and we want to use it next year in our school. The kids seem to enjoy the system and they like discovering this “trick” system. It seems very helpful and useful."
Laura, 2nd grade teacher

Jenny, 3rd grade teacher
"Mr. Biesanz's EZ Times Table book will be a valuable resource for parents
to help their children master multiplication facts. I am purchasing a copy
for the families at the school where I teach. Many kids who traditionally
have trouble with multiplication will find that the connections and patterns
revealed in this book help multiplication make sense in new ways. This
method provides a way for kids to recreate the times tables when they
are "stuck," and is also helpful for division and fractions."
Teresa, a Home Based School teacher
"Who would have thought that multiplication could be taught via tictactoe! I've taught the threes and sevens using the tictactoe strategy from Mr. Number's EZ Times Table book. I love having this video to use in the future! I've had remedial students create the threes and sevens while doing time tests. I love this guy!"

MisterNumbers (author Tom Biesanz) presented at the California Math Council (CMC) Convention Dec 6th in Monterey. CMC is the largest affiliate of the National Council of Teachers of Math (NCTM) in the country. Most teachers that attended rated the 90 minute workshop as “EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS” and are excited to teach Right Brain Math visual patterns and “big pictures” to students 2nd12th grade.
Some of their comments were:
“Great way to break down the multiplication chart! I can’t wait to show my students!”

As the administrator for a K8 program, I am convinced that this system is appropriate for children in second through eighth grade. Not only is this system a handy way of learning multiplication, I believe that it also builds better number sense. Students throughout our school love playing with these tables. The system is especially effective with visual learners and children who like games or puzzles.
We plan to use EZ Times Tables throughout the grades next year. We will also be hiring Mr. Biesanz to do a teacher inservice so that entire faculty will be able to train students to use this system. EZ Times Tables is a useful system for school and home use. I highly recommend this publication to both educators and parents."

Also learning to recognize patterns is important in all learning. Kids need to be able to count to Ten, know even and odd numbers and count by 5's to create the EZ Times Table. Kids create larger numbers here with patterns. It is fun learning!"

“Thank you for shipping the order to our home. We are very excited about your program.
My husband has a Ph.D. in communicative disorders from Northwestern University. He is very eager to go over the 'right brain' math with our daughter. Our daughter is in 2nd grade with a visual IQ of 130. Her teacher introduced multiplication late last week. The teacher emailed us with a note that our daughter was not getting multiplication. For my child to understand that it was a teaching problem and not her learning problem, I had her watch your MisterNumbers Videos on Youtube. She immediately went to work to draw the 4x and 6x star. She thought that was really cool!”

I also ran into the term "Edison Trait" used to describe kids like Karis.
Basically it refers to Thomas Edison and his educational history. He had ADD before anyone knew what it was and grew up feeling like a failure in school, but he was imaginative and inventive.
I'm starting to feel so much more empowered now...."

Right Brain Math uses AVID inquiry educational strategies to learn math skills in a fun way that produces a positive attitude toward math. It is useful for curriculum directors, teachers, tutors, to implement motivational lesson plans, individual advancement or remediation. EZ Times Table is designed for grades 14, but many middle and high school teachers are grateful for results with their students. It also works with homeschooling and is academically sound.
I purchased these products to help my 4th grader who loves math but is struggling with memorization of times tables, and because I found them extremely interesting. This is such an outstanding product, in my personal opinion, but I am the only one in my school that has seen or heard of it. It has the potential to change the way people think about numbers.
Cheryl, mom of 3 elementary students
I love the fact that math is presented visually which makes it easier for my daughter to understand.
— Shannon, Homeschooler
The number wheel and tictactoe videos gave us such a different view of times tables that it will be difficult to not remember them. It also gives you a way to recreate any times table by remembering a pattern. The worksheets are a great way for kids to "see" the way numbers work. My daughter quickly picked up the times tables she had struggled with so much with ease. The "games" are so fun for the kids.
—Tina, Homeschooler of 3
I found the number wheel to be amazing.
